Las ni\u00f1as podr\u00edan presentar flujos muy abundantes al inicio de su menstruaci\u00f3n. Las mujeres con deficiencias de factores de la coagulaci\u00f3n podr\u00edan tener flujos menstruales m\u00e1s abundantes y\/o prolongados, lo que podr\u00eda provocar anemia (bajos niveles de hierro que causan debilidad y cansancio).<\/p>\n\n\n\nAntes de planear cualquier embarazo, las mujeres con deficiencias de factores de la coagulaci\u00f3n deber\u00edan recibir asesor\u00eda gen\u00e9tica sobre los riesgos de tener un hijo que herede el trastorno, y deber\u00edan consultar a un obstetra en cuanto sospechen que pudieran estar embarazadas. El obstetra deber\u00eda trabajar en estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con el personal del centro de tratamiento de hemofilia\/trastornos de la coagulaci\u00f3n a fin de ofrecer la mejor atenci\u00f3n posible durante el embarazo y el parto, y para reducir al m\u00ednimo posibles complicaciones tanto para la madre como para el reci\u00e9n nacido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WoLas mujeres con ciertas deficiencias de factor (como deficiencia de factor XIII y a pueden correr mayores riesgos de aborto y desprendimiento de placenta (la separaci\u00f3n prematura de la placenta del \u00fatero, lo cual interrumpe el flujo de sangre y ox\u00edgeno al feto). Por lo tanto, estas mujeres requieren tratamiento durante todo el embarazo a fin de evitar tales complicaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El principal riesgo relacionado con el embarazo es la hemorragia posparto. Todos los trastornos hemorr\u00e1gicos est\u00e1n relacionados con un mayor riesgo de hemorragia despu\u00e9s del alumbramiento. El riesgo y la gravedad de la hemorragia pueden disminuirse con el tratamiento adecuado. Este tratamiento es diferente en el caso de cada mujer y depende de su historial personal y familiar de s\u00edntomas hemorr\u00e1gicos, la gravedad de la deficiencia de factor, y el tipo de parto (vaginal o ces\u00e1rea). La terapia de reemplazo de factor podr\u00eda ser necesaria en algunos casos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
